 Corporate Executive Chef

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

As a Corporate Executive Chef, you will report directly to the Senior Corporate Executive Chef
You will liaise with all Team Members of Corporate Chefs, support Senior Executive Chefs and on-board management

LOCATION
Europe (travelling between luxury river cruise ships)

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Actively participate in on-board production to ensure excellent food operations on highest quality service levels
• Supervise, support and train culinary teams
• Cooperate with culinary management team to create innovative food concepts and recipes
• Implement all SOP's according to our culinary manual; making sure all developed recipes, buffet & food presentation been followed, and update if needed
• Provide consistent, clear, effective & excellent communication with vendors, colleagues, crew and onboard management, as well as office team
• Cooperate with Human Resources upon request - sourcing new talents in all culinary fields
• Support and control of culinary teams in administration and organization of daily operation including but not limited to: cost efficiency, environmental standards, on-board equipment, purchasing, safety awareness, HACCP, duty attendance control

YOU WOULD PERFECTLY FIT TO US, IF YOU

• Have minimum 5 year's leadership experience or 5 years working experience in culinary arts in land-based 5* hotel and/or cruise ship catering
• Capable and experienced in training, managing & leading large teams
• Have strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to interact effectively with all nationalities and employees on all levels. You are a good listener
• Work with discipline and perseverance, care for details as well as being able to anticipate needs and trends
• Know how to plan, organize and complete tasks within given timeframes
• Have strong ability to develop and document cultural, regional & international menus

• Are a citizen of the EU or Switzerland
