V. Hospitality is currently looking for a German Speaking Executive Chef for a brand new Expedition vessel the Mystic Cruises!
Mystic Cruises is a Portuguese cruise company dedicated to operating expeditionary cruise programs in the Antarctic and other remote locations. With a focus on offering unique experiences in an eco-friendly way, Mystic Cruises allows guests to explore the unspoiled landscapes of the frozen continent with all the comfort of a five-star cruise ship.
The brand new vessel will have a maximum of 200 guests onboard, and will operate in Arctic, Antarctic, Norway and the Mediterranean.
As an Executive Chef you will oversee the complete galley operation and maintain the necessary levels of food production and sanitation. You will supervise a small team following company policies and menu cycles for buffet & a la carte outlets and a snack venue. You will oversee food requisitions, budgets, training of an international team and some administration. You would report directly to the hotel manager.
Previous experience in a similar role is needed (ideally within the expedition sector), German language skills a plus.
