Cunard - Assistant Housekeeping Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our onboard Housekeeping team in the role of Assistant Housekeeping Manager. You will be responsible for managing the safe and efficient operation of the housekeeping of passenger cabins, ensuring high levels of cleanliness and presentation. Reporting directly to the Housekeeping Manager, you will be required to deputise as and when required. 

In this fantastic role as Assistant Housekeeping Manager you will be required to effectively manage your close-knit team. You will be required to complete appraisals, identify development opportunities and ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently and in accordance with all company public health, hygiene and safety guidelines. You will work closely with the Housekeeping Manager, analysing cleaning trends and identifying improvements, continually striving to improve passenger satisfaction scores and effectively resolve issues or complaints in relation to your own areas.

You will need the following experience to join Cunard as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager:

• Experience managing a large Housekeeping team, within a 5* hotel environment and cruise line
• Experience of working with budgets and departmental financial information within a corporate environment
• Ideally have experience conducting internal audits/inspections to ensure high standards are maintained
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Knowledge of laundry services desirable

Please note that a full STCW Course is required for this role.
