Naval Architect & Marine Engineer

We are working with an expanding cruise company based in the UK. They are looking for an experienced Naval Architect and Marine Engineer to work out of their head office.

As a Naval Architect and Marine Engineer for this cruise company you will be in charge for all Retro fits, scrubber modifications, Class related matters, lengthening project, refurbishment, conversions, and safety requirements.

You will have strong cruise experience with the ability to support superintendents and managers in Dry Docking's.

Other responsibilities will include;

• Onboard software support and updates
• Engineering support for modification on existing ships, both in operation and in Dry Dock
• Safety and Emergency drill evaluations.
• Drawings support, updates, modifications.
• Supervising and coordinating the activities of the Naval Architect and Marine Engineers Team.

You should have the following;

• Strong English language skills
• Naval Architect and Marine Engineer (master's degree)
• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a surveyor, preferably with an engineering qualification
• Cruise and Dry Docking experience
• Shipyard experience and/or naval architect project office and/or repair companies if possible
• Good PC skills, with good use of AutoCAD
• Ability to travel within Europe and rest of Europe.
