Chinese speaking ASSISTANT ELECTRICIAN for Cruise vessel PIANO LAND

Embarkation: October/November 2020
Required: all valid Certificates and valid ETR Certificate( STCW Reg.III/7 ) or valid ETO

Responsibilities:

• Inform the Chief Electrical Engineer or the Chief Electrical Engineer's representative in matters concerning the working area and report spare parts used for re-ordering.
• Perform battery checking of all tenders, rescue and lifeboats as well as on the provision forklifts
• Perform other duties assigned by the Chief Electrical Engineer or the Chief Electrical Engineer's representative.
• Perform repairs in Galleys and pantries, laundry and launderette equipment, lifeboat and tender electrical systems.
• Perform installation, maintenance and repair of electric wiring and related equipment around the entire ship.
• Perform minor repairs of appliances such as vacuum cleaner, carpet shampoo equipment, etc.
• Electric driven deck machinery, lantern system, whirlpool electrical system.
• Pool, spa and whirlpool water heating, circulating, treatment and monitoring equipment

Requirements:

• Minimum one year experience in large cruise vessels as Electrician
• Two years experience as GP Assistant Electrician on large cruise vessels considered
• Experience in all types of Electrical fault finding and installation
• Relevant qualifications of a certified Electrician required
• Ability to troubleshoot Electrical Equipment such as but not limited to, galley, lighting circuits and general installations
• Must have an above average command of the spoken and written English language
• Must be flexible and self motivated
