Painter / Ordinary Seaman (MY120m+)

An experienced and qualified Ordinary Seamen (OS) / Painter is required by a 120m+ new build vessel which is due for launch in the middle of this year. The right candidate should have all their necessary qualifications, travel documents and certifications up to date and some type of training in Paint works. Reporting to the Bosun the ideal candidate must work well within a team and perform a role within the deck department according to the highest standards and procedures. Candidates are to be able to demonstrate a good track record onboard a large yacht or cruise ship and have good references to match.

You are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19. This is a rotational position. The rotation schedule is to be determined.

You must have experience as an Ordinary Seaman / Painter on a yacht or cruise ship over 80m for 3+ years to apply for this role.

Job Specification

• Valid STCW '10 Certificates
• Valid ENG1 Medical with no restrictions
• Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD)
• Minimum 3+ Years in similar role and rank experience
• Minimum Ordinary Seamans Certificate
• Excellent set of cleaning, painting, maintenance skills
• Good health and good sobriety
• Must speak fluent English
• Must have good written references and contact details must be provided
• Must be vaccinated for COVID-19
• No visible tattoos
