Job Description:
Our client uses Marad, a planned maintenance system, for their managed fleet. The main duty of the System Engineer is to create, build, maintain as well as make improvements on the planned maintenance system for our client's managed fleet. There are equipment structures, maintenance schedules, safety drills, spare parts, inventory as well as certificates included in this system, and these will be implemented on board as well as in the office. As a systems engineer, you will be reporting to the Group Technical Manager.
Tasks:
Collect all relevant ship specific documentation such as certificates, manuals, drawings and data; before their implementation within the planned maintenance system / PMS.
Provide suggestions on possible improvements to improve the quality of the planned maintenance system.
Create and maintain a maintenance structure, which will be based on ship specific documents and data.
Provide a connection between the ship specific maintenance schemes and the equipment structure of the planned maintenance system.
Ensure the implementation of the relevant vessel certificates within the planned maintenance system.
Focus on adjacent projects which will relate to and support the content, as well as the quality of the PMS.

Qualifications:
Secondary vocational education (MBO)
One to three years' experience in the maritime industry.
Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
You are detail orientated and a team player
