Purser for a Ocean Yacht /German & English speaking/

We are looking for a Purser for Ocean Yachts.

Contract: 4 months.

Starting Date: ASAP - August

Experience - min. 3-4 years on position
Experience on Cruise Ship/Yacht - min. 2-3 contracts

STCW certificates (if not available) - provided by the company online for free

Responsibilities:

· Manages and establishes paperwork for change over days: manifests, customs clearance in and out, declarations etc.

· Manages all ship clearances and formalities with port authorities and local agents
· Supervises the daily operation of:
- Ship offices and information counter including Fidelio Cruises system, the Micros Cash system for board boutique and F&B outlets,
- Ship`s radio and communication accounts, telephone and fax and the handling of all requested files,
- Security devices including the Ving Card Door Lock system and our security station
· Responsible for the training and guidance of the Receptionist, daily audit of all passenger crew-and hotel accounts, cashbook and cashier reports, end of the month balance, stocktaking of the uniform and boutique items including issuing, auditing and placing new orders
· Manages the payroll, cash advances, and any deductions from wages of the entire crew and reports all crew matters to Crew Manager directly
· Maintains Master's cash report for each voyage reported to
· Organises the Reception staff at direction of the Hotel Manger for daily and extra duties
. Comply with safety, health policy and programm on board and training the crew
