Assistant Crew Purser

Seeking a detail-oriented assistant crew purser to support crew administration, handle documentation, payroll, and onboard accounts, ensure compliance with maritime regulations and provide excellent service to crew members.

Key responsibilities:
• Manage crew documentation and compliance
• Assist with payroll and processing and onboard accounts
• Maintain accurate crew records
• Coordinate crew onboarding/offboarding and training
• Address crew member concerns and queries

Qualifications:
• Experience in administrative roles, preferably on a cruise ship
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication and interpersonal sills
• Knowledge of maritime regulations is a plus
• Proficiency in English required, French language skills are an advantage

Required certification:
• STCW Basic Safety Training (BST)
o Personal survival techniques (PST)
o Fire prevention and firefighting (PPFF)
o Elementary first aid (EFA)
o Personal safety and social responsibilities (PSSR)
• Security Awareness Training
• Crowd Management Training
• Medical Certificate (valid and compliant with STCW and flag state standards)
• Seaman’s book
• Passport (min. validity 6 months)
• Visa (if required by embarkation port or vessel itinerary)
• Yellow fever vaccination (only in high-risk trade areas)
• Measles vaccination (only in high-risk trade areas)
• Covid vaccination (WHO approved fully vaccinated / booster recommended)
