The Role: We seek a talented and experienced 'Chef de Partie Sushi'
Description Brief: As a Chef de Partie Sushi, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality sushi dishes within your designated kitchen section, contributing to the development of new menus and ensuring all food preparation meets company standards and health regulations. You’ll supervise and train junior staff, maintain a clean and organised workspace, and collaborate across kitchen sections to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Daily responsibilities include attending galley meetings, managing protein mise en place for various menus and à la carte orders, maintaining accurate logs, and ensuring thorough cleaning after each shift. You’ll set up your station, assist during service, and support kitchen wash downs and proper storage procedures. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise while sailing to some of the world’s most breathtaking destinations aboard a 6-star luxury yacht.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 4 contracts' experience as a Chef de Partie Sushi onboard Passenger Cruise Ships - on various stations and/or cuisines.
- Excellent A La Carte experience.
- Valid STCW certificates, as required for the position.
- An amazing team player with a positive attitude to ‘get the job done’.
