Chief Engineer

Vessel Type: AHTS (Anchor Handling Tug Supply Vessel)

We are seeking an experienced and competent Chief Engineer to join our team onboard an AHTS vessel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation, maintenance, and repair of all engineering systems and machinery onboard.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily engine room operations and maintenance activities.

Ensure compliance with international maritime safety and environmental regulations.

Manage fuel, oil, and spare parts inventory effectively.

Lead and supervise the engineering crew onboard.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.

Maintain accurate engineering and maintenance records.

Requirements:

Valid COC (STCW-compliant).

Minimum sailing experience as Chief Engineer on AHTS or offshore support vessels.

Strong knowledge of marine engineering systems and safety protocols.

Good leadership and communication skills.
