Engine Mechanic

he Engine Mechanic is responsible for assisting with the operation, maintenance, and repair of the vessel’s engines and mechanical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the operation and routine maintenance of main engines, generators, and auxiliary machinery

Perform basic inspections, servicing, and repairs of mechanical equipment

Monitor engine performance and report any faults or irregularities

Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times

Keep work areas clean and properly maintained

Assist senior engineers as required

Requirements:

Basic training or experience in marine or diesel engine mechanics

Ability to work in a team and follow instructions

Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends

Valid marine certifications as required by maritime regulations
