We are looking for a talented Executive Pastry Chef (m/f/g) for an international Ocean Cruise Line with fantastic routes throughout the world.

Your job includes:

  • Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread
  • Plan, implement and manage daily operations
  • Prepare menus and suggest new menu items
  • Monitor supplies and ingredients necessary for daily operations
  • Check quality of material and condition of equipment
  • develop dessert recipes and maintains an inventory of ingredients

Your Requirements:

  • minimum 3 years in Hotel or cruise ship in the same position
  • needs good communication skills since working with other chefs is a major function of the job
  • Previous working experience as Pastry Chef
  • Certificate in culinary arts or similar relevant field
  • Strong passion for the art of food design
  • Applicable knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten free, sugarless etc.)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Great attention to detail and creativity
  • Great interpersonal and leadership skills and friendly attitude

Work Experience Requirements

All applicants must have previous experience in working on a Cruise Ship, in a 4/5* Hotel or in an Upscale Restaurant.

Language Requirements

Good knowledge of the following languages is required: English, German
